What Our Clients Think

Richard's Bay Coal Terminal

At the heart of PeopleSmart Consulting is the Person. Their people orientated approach is felt in all that they do.

Their work is empowering. They work with your internal team/department/staff to enable the organization to be self-reliant. They empower the specialist to embed the work that they have done.

PeopleSmart assisted our organization to navigate COVID-19 and its impact on mental health. They worked with us to explore how we can bring our whole self to work and helped entrench Mental Health matters in our organization.

Today Mental Health is firmly on the table at RBCT today because of the work they did together with our management team. Their aftercare service, long after they have delivered the intervention is commendable.

This is a group of consultants that truly cares. Their work is beyond the bottom line, it delivers social value, empowers people to live their best lives and live wholeheartedly.

The above reference is sincere and shared by my team and the RBCT EXCO Team.

KZN Department of Health

I can recommend PeopleSmart wholeheartedly for the development, implementation, and evaluation of custom-made staff development interventions.

In my capacity as the Regional Training Centre Manager for the Kwa-Zulu Natal Department of Health, I was assigned to a team working to improve the interaction between healthcare workers and our clients.

Historically we had experienced challenges where health and treatment education was delivered in a didactic manner and our clients were not adequately involved in making treatment decisions. As a result of this approach, many clients were not able to adhere to their treatment plan.

Through working with Taegan Devar and Prof. Anna Meyer-Weitz from PeopleSmart we have been able to develop a programme named Health Promotion for Behavioural Change.

The goal of this programme is to equip healthcare workers with the ability to collaborate with clients on health education in a manner that results in lasting behavioural change around lifestyle and adherence to treatment.

Throughout the development, piloting and implementation of the programme Taegan and Anna have shown themselves to be knowledgeable, compassionate, and highly capable programme designers and facilitators.

We are fortunate that our course participants, many of whom go on to facilitate their own sessions, have such inclusive and competent role models from whom to draw inspiration.
